I studied at Colchester Institute where I gained my first degree, BA (Hons) in Music. I went on to study composition with James Fulkerson at Nottingham University and was awarded the Master of Musical Arts (AMusM).
I originally wrote music solely for the computer and used many generating systems over the years, including the Spectrum, Yamaha, Atari and currently Logic Pro and Sibelius. My computer works include seven “Symphonies for Electronic Orchestra”, “Variations”, “Fantasy Fugue Fantasia” and much, much more. See Technical Stuff for full details.
I now also write for humans. Works include the opera “Zoo”, a cantata, “The Pied Piper”, two “Christmas Carols” and music for a range of musical combinations. Have a look at the Scores page for music for a variety of instruments.
Collaborations have included: “Motionhouse Dance Theatre”;“Scottish Dance Theatre”; “De Montfort University” “Ely Choral Society”
